TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

Writer/Director Sylvain Chomet said that when animating the Triplets, he watched footage of tall basketballs to get a better idea of how to make the characters move and walk.
Everything in the film was hand drawn except for the bicycles which were computer generated and then traced. Chomet said he did that because he didn't want ot spend a lot of time on the bikes and wanted to focus more on the characters.
