OPENING THOUGHTS

    Pie is one of those things that gets taken for granted.  God knows every time I fuck a pie I thank my lucky stars I have one in my life at all times. And after this movie... I actually started to LOVE my pie.

ACTING

    KERI RUSSELL has become quite the woman and quite the little actress. Her performance almost made me forget about her Felicity days. Almost. In a double whammy effort Russell actually made me want to fuck her AND marry her. She was sweet, honest, darling, kinda sexy, down to earth and funny. Everything my Asian Call-Girl is not.
    NATHAN FILLION is T.V.'s mega star and one day the rest of the world will acknowledge that fact. In quite the reserved manner, Fillion turns in a great performance as The Hot Doctor who likes to play Doctor. His balance of humor and sensitivity is something I always knew he had but the rest of Hollywood smothered. I suggest you check out Firefly or Buffy for more Nathan Fillion treats like this one.
    ADRIENNE SHELLY is dead. It's a goddamn shame. No jokes here. We lost a great and ridiculously talented person WAY to young.
    THE SUPPORTING CAST is made up of Cheryl Hines, Jeremy Sisto and Andy Griffith. Every single of them is outstanding as their respective characters and deserves more than a shout out. They really make the "special ingredient" in this wonderful Movie Pie. I thought it was donkey cum but nope, it was them.

DIRECTION AND SCRIPT

    ADRIENNE SHELLY nurtured, baked, decorated and served this movie on a silver platter. What plays like a comedy, stings like a drama and makes you feel all fuzzy like a bitch is obviously the product of one person who never comprised on vision or desire for the end result.

THE VERDICT

    My mom told me she liked this movie, which meant one thing: I'd hate it. But slap my ass and tie my hands behind my back until I piss myself 'cuz I can't take a leak on my own, I actually like it. A LOT! I laughed, I wanted to cry but didn't for fear of slander being thrown my way, I walked away touched. And you should to. Be touched.
