• This movie is based on the graphic novel of the same name written by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele.
• Bruce Willis refused to come back for post-production voice re-recording when the film was being restructured. As a result there are several lines that a voice actor doing an impersonation of Willis had to be used instead.
