    FBI Agent Flynn (Samuel L Jackson) is on a mission: transport a federally protected witness from Hawaii to Los Angeles so the government can put a brutal mob boss behind bars. But, just as the plane reaches 30,000 feet hundreds of venomous snakes are unleashed causing violent mayhem as the vicious predators attack everyone in sight. With the help of LA's leading snake expert on the ground; Flynn leads the other passengers on a desperate, action-packed fight for their lives!

TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

• Reportedly this film came to be while several producers were sharing a drink during happy hour. The group was recalling the worst pitches for movies they had heard. Producer Craig Berenson won the contest with a pitch he had recently heard for a film called Venom, which was the original script title for this film.
• This film's working title was Snakes On A Plane and there was an enormous internet buzz about the film's straight-forward title. People began making fake movie posters for the film, and making up dialogue, most notably a fake line in which Samuel L. Jackson says "There's mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane!" or variations of the line. When it was announced that the film would be rated PG-13 and the title was to be changed to Flight 121 or Pacific Air Flight 121, the internet fans were outraged. In a perhaps a film first, the film's name was changed back to Snakes On A Plane and the film was ordered to have reshoots to actually gain an R rating. One of the reshoots included an addition of the line: "I've had it with these mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane!"
• Due to the large buzz about the film, the producers chose to hide the film they were actually working on by using the fake title of Anacondas 3 during filming.
• There are 450 actual snakes used in the filming of this movie, however there were still some digital snakes created as the snakes would not always do what the filmmakers wanted.
