DESCRIPTION:

High-spirited high jinks on Christmas Eve put Frank Cross (Bill Murray in a ghostly time warp in this hilarious take-off of Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol." Cross, who has made the meteoric rise from the depths of the mailroom to TV network president, is mean, nasty, uncaring, unforgiving and has a sadistic sense of humor - perfect qualities for a modern-day Scrooge.
Before the night is over, he'll be visited by a maniacal New York cab driver from the past, a present-day fairy who's into pratfalls and, finally, a ghoulish, seven-foot headless messenger from the future.

TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

This movie is loosely based on the Charles Dicken's novel A Christmas Carol.
During the filming of the seen in which Carol Kane pulls Bill Murray's lip, she pulled with such force that Murray was actually injured, and the filming of the movie was put on hiatus for several days to allow for the injury to heal.
All of Bill Murray's brothers are featured in this movie: Joel Murray, Brian Doyle-Murray, and John Murray.
The carolers in the street that get insulted by Bill Murray's character are played by Paul Shaffer, David Sanborn, Larry Carlton, and Miles Davis.
