TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

-
Mike White had the idea for this film after he moved into
an apartment next door to Jack Black and he saw Black perform wild antics
such as running naked through the halls while blasting classic rock. White
said he doesn't even like classic rock, but wanted to write story for Jack
Black and the music he loved.
-
Jack Black and the rest of the film makers desperately wanted
to include The Immigrant Song in this film, but their request was
originally denied as Led Zepplin rarely licenses their songs out for film
use. But Jack Black filmed a request in front of thousands of screaming
fans begging Led Zepplin to reconsider. The plea actually worked and Led
Zepplin allowed the use of their song in the film, and the film he sent
the band is a special feature on the DVD.
-
The song that Jack Black is strumming and humming to himself
is actually the theme song from a computer comic known as Computerman
which starred the voice of Jack Black.
