TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

• This film is based on the book of the same name by Stephen King.
• William Sadler who played Bill in this film, was the voice of David Drayton in the audio version of Stephen King's book.
• Although studio execs vetoed the suggestion, director Frank Darabont wanted this film to be shot entirely in black and white. His dream was later realized however, on the 2 disc DVD you can watch the film in black and white as Darabont had intended it to be seen.
• Frank Darabont only agreed to doing this project with dimension under the condition that they would not make him change the ending of the film which he penned himself.
