• Throughout the movie Kate, played by Emma Thompson, is reading a book called The Wayward Note by Anita Harmon. Both the author and the title are made up, it was decided that since the book was not important to the story it would be easier to make a fake book then it would be to pay for the rights of a real book for no reason.
