    Journey into the fantastical world of Labyrinth, starring David Bowie and a cast of incredible creatures create by Jim Henson and produced by the Master of Myth George Lucas.
    Frustrated with baby-sitting in yet another weekend night, Sarah - a teenager with an active imagination - summons the Goblins from her favorite book, Labyrinth, to taker her baby step-brother away. When little Toby actually disappears, Sarah must follow him into the world of the fairy tale to rescue him from the wicked Goblin King (Bowie)!
    Guarding his castle is The Labyrinth itself - a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous character and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah will have to outwit the King by befriending the very Goblins who protect him, in hopes that their loyalty isn't just another illusion in a place where nothing is as it seems!

TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

• The Jim Henson museum wanted to put the costume of Hoggle on display but found that the costume was lost, after searching hugh and low the costume was found in the unclaimed baggage area of the airport in Scottboro, Alabama.
• Cheryl McFadden was one of the main choreographers of this movie, she is better known as Gates McFadden, the actress who played Dr. Beverly Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
• Filmmakers were trying to decide who to get to play the Goblin King, before going with David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Sting were heavily considered for the role.
• The glass ball tricks were done without any special effects. While this was not done by David Bowie himself they were done by renowned juggler Michael Moschen without the aid of strings or wires. In the scenes where you can see Bowie's face this was accomplished by having the juggler stick his arms out from behind Bowie and do the juggling blind.
• The baby laughs and gurgles in the song Magic Dance, were made by David Bowie himself.
