Debbie and Pete's kid's are director Judd Apatow and actor Leslie Mann's real kid's. Apatow who also wrote the movie has said this movie is based partially on his experience with his wife's first pregnancy.
A lot of the dialogue was thought up by Apatow during filming, also he allowed many of the actors to improves lines and scenes which ended up in the final movie.
In Russia this film's title was translated to A Little Bit Pregnant.
