This movie is loosely based off of several short stories
about robots written by Isaac Asimov. They were compiled into a book entitled
I, Robot however the book is not one continuous story, the only
thing taken from the books are a few plot points and a couple of characters.
The actual story in this film is almost entirely brand new.
-

Sonny the robot, a part which ultimately ended up being a CGI character
voiced by Alan Tudyk.
-
