HEFE'S QUICKIE REVIEW OF:
RED (2010)
Wow, what a lineup. The cast list on
this film is like a wet dream, where the wet refers to ejaculation sauce.
I wasn't sure if this movie would be good or not but I knew as soon as
I saw Helen Mirren firing off a machine gun in the trailer that I had to
see this movie. Everybody in the cast brought something to this film. But
the one standout person that makes this movie a must-see is John Malkovich.
His manic crazy character is unbelievably entertaining. But he is not the
only thing to love either. The movie as a whole has a really nice mix of
action and comedy. This probably won't win any kind of awards, but I will
tell you this: This movie is flat out entertaining. If you like to watch
things go boom, but don't like things to get to serious, then this is the
movie for you.
