HEFE'S QUICKIE REVIEW OF:
MEGAMIND (2010)
I am so glad that we are living in
a world where they make movies for kids that also have content for adults
to enjoy, and as a grown ass man I can tell you I enjoyed this one thoroughly.
But then again with voice talents from the likes of Will Ferrell, Brad
Pitt, Tina Fey, David Cross and Jonah Hill I think you would be hard pressed
to not find something in this movie that tickles your fancy. Much of what
happens in this story is taken from the battles between Superman and Lex
Luther, but it more basically poses the question: What would happen if
the bad guy's plan for world domination actually succeeded? As it turns
out the results are both amusing an entertaining. So now that we covered
what I thought of the movie, do kids enjoy it? I took my four-year-old
to see this and she had a great time. While she can't seem to ever remember
the title of the film (instead referring to it as the "light bulb head
guy movie"), I asked her if she liked the movie, and she gave me a resounding
yes. So if you have kids this is a must see, and even if you don't I still
think you would find plenty to enjoy here.
