• This movie is the 5th movie in the series and is based on the 5th book in the Harry Potter series of the same name by J.K. Rowling.
• Evanna Lynch who played the role of Luna went to an open audition and beat out 15,000 other girls in order to nab the part.
• The Hall Of Prophecies was completely computer generated, this was decided due to the cost of having to build the giant real set along with thousands of crystal balls would have been enormous.
• Before the role of Bellatrix Lestrange was given to Helena Bonham Carter, the role was taken by Helen McCroy, however she had to give up the part once she found out she was pregnant.
