WHAT THE STUDIO WANTS YOU TO KNOW
DESCRIPTION:
Ronna needs to make some extra
cash. Simon wants to escape to Vegas for the weekend. Adam and Zack want
to stay out of trouble. But it's not just another night in the life of
these unusual characters. They're about to embark on a wild ride that won't
end until the sun comes up.
This hip, outrageous and action-packed
hit from director Doug Liman (Swingers) features a pulsating soundtrack
and suprising performances from hot newcomers Sarah Polley (The Sweet
Hereafter), Katie Holmes (TV's "Dawson's Creek"), Scott Wolf
(TV's "Party Of Five"), and Jay Mohr (Jerry Maguire). Go
is a sexy and hilarious comedy that stretches the limits of how far you
can go and still get home from the party alive.

-
Director Doug Liman specifically picked the grocery store
seen in this movie because he thought it looked run-down. When he got permission
to film there the producers of the film gave the owners a check in advance
for allowing them to shoot scenes in the store. However when the owners
received the check they used the money to refurbish the store in an effort
to try and make it look more "Hollywood". As a result a team of people
had to be brought in before the shoot to return the store to it's original
run-down look.
-
Timothy Olyphant wanted his character to have a tattoo, however
director Doug Liman disagreed and told Olyphant he could not have a tattoo.
However Olyphant showed up on set with a fresh drawn on flaming dice tattoo
on his neck provided by the makeup department on his first day of shooting.
Liman ended up liking the tattoo so much he decided to let Olyphant keep
it in the movie.

Doug Liman had originally rejected Scott Wolf after his audition
because he had already cast Katie Holmes and did not want two actors from
teen dramas in his film. However after the audition he saw Wolf having
a conversation with Jay Mohr and decided that the chemistry between them
was too great to waste and ended up casting him in the film.
