G BABY'S REVIEW OF:
28 WEEKS LATER (2007)

    I didn't like this movie very much. First of all, I find it ridiculous that the original low budget movie was able to get Cillian Murphy, and the best the big budget sequel could get was the black guy from Lost in a supporting role. I also hated the shaky camera work. It gave me a headache and I couldn't see anything that was going on. Also, I'm not really a big fan of movies that are driven by gore. And I don't want to give anything away, but I didn't like how The Fully Monty guy's character was handled either. This movie lacked the cleverness, the characters, and the tension that made 28 Days Later so great. It's just another big budget load of hogwash.
