G BABY'S QUICKIE REVIEW OF:
1408 (2007)

    Scary movies aren't usually scary to me. But this movie was a pretty good thriller with quite a few scenes that made me jump. Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack have a really good scene together, but most of the movie is Cusack trying to survive in this "fucking evil room" as Samuel L. Jackson puts it, using the one F-Bomb you're allowed in a PG-13 movie. The movie builds and builds and eventually all hell breaks loose. It was a pretty interesting film with good acting and special effects. I liked it.
