    Living under three months' house arrest, Kale Brecht (Shia LaBeouf, Transformers) passes his days spying on the neighbors. It's all fun and games until things take a horrifying turn for the worse. Kale is convinced his neighbor next door is a serial killer - but he can't prove anything, can't convince anyone and can't leave his house without triggering an alarm. Enlisting the help of his friends, Kale is determined to expose the truth - but have they all taken on more than they bargained for with a cold-blooded murderer on the loose?

TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

• This movie was originally optioned in the early 1990's but was never filmed due to the striking similarities between this film and the movie Rear Window which had been remade with Christopher Reeve around the same time.
• David Morse is a method actor and refused to speak to either Shia LaBeouf or Sarah Roemer when they weren't filming. LaBeouf mentioned in interviews he found Morse to be very friendly after shooting was over.
• David Morse broke three of his fingers by hitting a wall while filming this movie, and he refused medical treatment until he finished filming the scene.
