    Ambushed at their homestead by Sheriff Wydell and a squad of armed men, the Firefly family awakens with guns blazing - yet only Otis and his sister, Baby, manage to escape unharmed. Taking refuge and hostages in a back-road motel, the wanted siblings rendezvous with their deranged partner in crime, Captain Spaulding, killing whoever happens to stand in their way. But as the body count mounts higher, Sheriff Wydell decides to "cross the line" and take the law into his own hands, paving the way for one of the most depraved and terrifying showdowns in cinematic history.

TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

• This film is a sequel to Rob Zombie's earlier film House Of 1000 Corpses, and was even known as House Of 1000 Corpses II throughout it's production, it was not changed to The Devil's Rejects until right before it's theatrical release.
• Karen Black was asked to come back and play Mother Firefly in this film, however she demanded more money to come back, money that was not in the budget, as a result she was replaced with Leslie Easterbrook.
• At 560 times, this film briefly held the record for the most times the word "fuck" had been said in movie. However this was overtaken within a few months by the film Fuck which upped the ante and used the word 857 times.
• Rosario Dawson is in this film for about 40 seconds, she filmed additional scenes with the character Dr. Satan, however when Zombie decided to cut his scenes out of the film, it left most of Dawson's scenes on the cutting room floor as well.
