CARD SHARK'S QUICKIE REVIEW OF:
THE OTHER GUYS (2010)

If you are into Will Ferrell movies like Anchorman and Talladega Nights than you're gonna like this movie. But then what would you expect given that it is written and directed by the same guy that made those other classics. This is a great buddy cop movie that teams up Will Ferrell with Mark Wahlberg. But the awesomeness doesn't stop there, in fact this film has a lot of great roles in it. Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just kill it, literally, and the casting of Eva Mendes as Will Ferrell's wife was pitch perfect. This is definitely  going to be a must own on DVD or BLU-ray as this movie was very quotable. The Prius jokes alone make this one worth seeing. I didn't care that I had figured out the story as soon as they put it on the screen because it was the dialogue that made this a great comedy. I am going to enjoy watching this one again and again. Plus, I have found that most of Adam McKay's movies are very rewatchable and get funnier the more you watch them, so I have to assume that is going to be true here as well. It will take a lot to catch up to the number of times I've watched Anchorman but I think it may have a shot at beating that record by the time I am done with it..
