Meet Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White), the smoothest, baddest cat on the street. He's a ladies' man and the man with the plan. He's also a former CIA agent out to avenge his brother's death. Whether he's taking down drug dealers or sweet-talking foxy mommas, he's the man out to stop The Man. Take a wild ride from the mean streets of the ghetto to some funky clubs downtown, all the way to the "Honkey House" with this bad-ass, tough-as-nails action hero.
Black Dynamite is a kung-fu-fighting, pimp-slapping, gun-blasting, outrageously over-the-top parody of '70s-era blaxploitation films that delivers big action and even bigger laughs like nobody's bizness.

Michael Jai White said he came up with the idea for this film when he was listening to James Browns' song Superbad back in 2006. In fact White actually wanted to call the film Superbad originally, but changed it to Black Dynamite after the success of Seth Rogen's Superbad in 2007.
The character of Roscoe has a restaurant in the film called "Chili And Donuts", which is a play on the popular "Chicken And Waffles" restaurants that are extremely popular in the south.
