    Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman (Best Actress in a leading role, The Hours, 2002) and wickedly funny Will Ferrell star as actors playing Darrin and Samantha on a remake of the television show Bewitched in this cleverly crafty comedy from Nora Ephron (Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail).
    Egomaniacal star Jack Wyatt (Ferrell) casts unknown Isabel (Kidman) as his co-star in order to monopolize the limelight and regain his top spot on Hollywood's A-list. When Isabel, a real witch, discovers Jack's self centered scheme, she conjures a sidesplitting spell the mere mortal will never forget!

TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS

• Before Nicole Kidman was decided upon to play the role of Samantha, several other actresses were considered for the part including: Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston, and Alicia Silverstone.
• Jim Carrey was also approached for the role of Jack Wyatt but he was already committed to other projects at the time.
• Kristin Chenoweth got her role thanks to Nicole Kidman who recommended her for the role of Maria after enjoying her performance as Glenda in the Broadway musical Wicked. Kristin in turn recommended Wicked co-star Carole Shelley for the role of Aunt Clara after Joan Plowright dropped out of the role.
• The set of the TV show is labeled as sound stage 1164, which his the house number that that the original show was set in. The full address was 1164 Morning Glory Circle, Westport, Connecticut.
