They've
saved the biggest trip for last as the most popular time-traveling movie
trilogy ever comes to a rousing conclusion in Back To The Future Part
III! Stranded in 1955 after a freak accident, Marty McFly (Michael
J. Fox) discovers he must travel back to 1885 to rescue Doc Brown (Christopher
Lloyd) before he becomes smitten with school teacher Clara Clayton (Mary
Steenburgen). Now, it's up to Marty to keep Doc out of trouble, get the
DeLorean running and put the past, present and future on track so they
can all get back to where - and when - they belong. From Academy Award-winning
filmmakers Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis, Back To The Future
Part III is a spectacular grand finale to the timeless blockbuster
series.

This movie was filmed back-to-back with, Back To The Future
Part II, only a three week break was given in between filming.
The band ZZ Top wrote an original song for this film called
Doubleback,
the group also played the band seen performing at the Hill Valley Festival.
The DeLorean used for filming in this movie is now on display
at Planet Hollywood in Honolulu, Hawaii. The car is suspended upside down
from the ceiling of the restaurant.
The drive-in theater that is seen in 1955 was built specifically
for this movie, and was torn down after filming had been completed.
Michael J. Fox revealed in his memoirs that he was accidentally
hung to the point where he went unconscious during the scene in which Mad
Dog strings him up at the clock tower.
Clint Eastwood was asked and gave consent for use of his
name in the film.
There is a deleted scene in the film in which Marshall Strickland
is shot in the back by Mad Dog Tannen, it was cut according to director
Robert Zemeckis because test audiences found the scene too depressing.
This film marks Christopher Lloyd's first on-screen kiss,
despite having worked in film and television for 15 years prior.
