ATLANTA BRAVE'S QUICKIE REVIEW OF:
THE GOOD SHEPHERD

    The Good Shepherd is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. A movie with Robert De Niro directing or starring is not suppose to be like this. De Niro has proven he can direct, A Bronx Tale was brilliant. The Good Shepard not only wastes three hours of your time, but also it wastes three hours of film solely on Matt Damon's face. I guess you're suppose to figure out what he's thinking or something. Screw that. William Hurt and Alec Baldwin are wasted also, as the camera rarely finds them. Michael Gambon has a small role, but sadly is killed off when maybe it should have been Matt Damon. Angelina Jolie plays the wife. She is rarely seen also, I told you... it's just Matt Damon and that same dumb stare from The Talented Mr. Ripley. What is he thinking? Who cares? I was talking through the whole movie and NO ONE told me to shut up. That is because they were all asleep.
