-
This movie is sold in two versions rated and unrated. The
unrated version actually does have some noticeable differences, unlike
the last two American Pie movies where you could hardly tell the
difference. Plus the unrated version gives you the option of watching the
film in it's original R rated form.
-
Seann William Scott managed to get his very own production
company as part of his contract to come back for the final American
Pie movie, partly because writer Adam Herz had already promised that
American Pie 2 was the final installment and so was no under contract
to do so.
-
In the commentary for this film Adam Herz refers to Jim's
Dad as Bullwinkle, stating that there was never a reason to give Eugene
Levy's character a first name until he started talking about the character
in the commentary.
