-
Originally the character of Stifler's Dad was supposed to
make an appearance, the role was set to be played by Bill Paxton. However,
Paxton had to abandon the part due to scheduling conflicts. The part was
then given to Chris Penn however during test screenings their was an abundance
of negative reactions to the character and as a result the part was eventually
cut out of the movie all together.
-
Both the director of this film J.B. Rogers, and screenwriter
Adam Herz make a cameo in this film. During the scene in which Casey Afleck
is on the phone talking to his younger brother, the two men standing behind
Afleck talking to each other are Rogers and Herz respectfully.
-
The scene showing Nadia talking on a pay phone in New York
was actual shot in Los Angeles. The backdrop of the New York City skyline
was added digitally, while hot dog vendors and yellow taxis were brought
in to make the shot look more authentic.
-
During the scene in which the lesbians are making out, Eddie
Kaye Thomas, the actor who play Finch, could not stop laughing at Seann
William Scott's reactions, and after multiple takes it was decided to shoot
around it, and as a result Finch is hardly visible through most of the
scene, the camera instead focuses primarily on Jason Biggs and Seann William
Scott.
-
Shannon Elizabeth was scheduled to have another nude scene
in the film, however she refused to do it, fearing that another nude scene
would cause her to be type-cast.
