THE
GEEK BOX TRIVIA TO IMPRESS YOUR EASILY IMPRESSED FRIENDS
This film was originally supposed to be set in Chicago, however
at the request of director Renny Harlin, the location was moved to New
Orleans.
John Cena was forced to cut back his wrestling schedule to
appearing only in Monday Night Raw and Pay-Per-View Events due to the filming
schedule that went along with this movie.
John Cena condemned film critics who universally trashed
this film, claiming that the only reason for the bad reviews was the fact
that Cena is a wrestler and that they are not fans of the sport.
Director Renny Harlin formed his own production company known
as Midnight Sun Pictures, and this film was his first project under the
new company banner.
